Please reschedule or cancel any appointments 48 hours in advance for all services. This allows us to replace the appointment time with other guests who may be waiting.
Please call the salon directly if you need assistance rescheduling.
Any appointments that are canceled with less than a 48-hour notice are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of all scheduled service(s). Any appointments that are regarded as a ‘no show’, after being confirmed, will be subject to 100% of all the scheduled service(s).
Our cancelation policy applies to services that have not been canceled or rescheduled prior 48 hours of your appointment.
We understand that accidents happen, people get sick and/or emergencies occur. We will do our best to accommodate these rare occasions with grace. We do record these occurrences so as to prevent abuse of the policy.
Parking options for The Hair Parlor on 8th:
8th Street, Cloverdale Ave and Detroit St., are all acceptable parking locations close to the salon.
We also offer parking passes in exchange for an ID at the salon in case your appointment goes beyond 2 hours or if you will be there after 6pm.
There are two public parking lots close by which offer parking for 4$ all day or an hourly rate. These are located on Detriot St., near Wilshire Blvd. behind the Post Office and on Cloverdale, midway between Wilshire Blvd. and 8th St.
Please be aware of street cleaning days and postings which occur on Monday mornings and Tuesday mornings between the hours of 9am and 11:00am.
La Brea Ave is a tow away zone after 4:00pm and has hourly restrictions. We do not recommend it.
As much as we love our furry companions, the salon is not a good environment for pets. Notwithstanding, it is against city and state health regulations to have animals in the salon, we also have to consider our clients who may be allergic or not as ‘in-love’ with pets as others may be. We have also found that because of the different chemicals and heavy aromas that we use at times combined with animal’s acute senses, it can actually irritate your pet to be in the salon and spa.
Service Animals are always welcome and if you have any questions, please don't hetsitate to call us for details or questions.
